Makeup should be fun. It is a way to create and invent yourself everyday. It is an expression of our individuality. I don't really adhere to any rules involving makeup. I don't like to put it into specific categories. A lot of makeup artists will tell you that you should or shouldn't wear certain colors because you have "cool" or "warm" skin tone and hair color. I do not believe that to be true, I know it isn't. With all the colors of the spectrum, and the many, many hues of each color - limiting yourself to specific ones would be so boring, and unnecessary. As a general guideline, these color rules do work - but there is so much more to create and experiment with - why limit yourself? And.....if you experiment with a new look and don't like it - it washes off! Women have many faces, the Mom, the wife, business women, or the party hostess, etc. etc.. This gives us an opportunity to create possibilities for ourselves and who we want to be and what we want to look like, everyday. The possibilities are endless. Makeup is a tool for us to use to express ourselves, and a reflection of our creativity and ever-changing selves. Enjoy it. Experiment. Create. Have fun. Dream in color!
